Somatic Movement Education & Expressive Arts (EXA)
Somatic and artistic explorations of the three brains: cranial, thoracic and pelvic, based on Body-Mind Centering©, with BMC© Practitioner & Teacher Marina Tsartsara MSc.
In this masterclass, we will work with our three brains: the cranial brain, the heart brain and our gut brain, three sources of intelligence and wisdom. We will explore each of them individually as well as in relation to each other. We will discover their intelligence, emotion and instinct, through sensation, consciousness and expressive arts. Our somatic methodology will include: touch, voice, movement, breathing and anatomical somatisations, combined with creativity through writing and art materials for drawing/painting/installation making.
Body-Mind Centering© pedagogy is experiential, based on embodiment, psychophysical and relational processes, towards integration.
This course is open to professionals that are looking for integrating creative, expressive and somatic resources in their professional practice.
